"Come Jesus Come" - Cece Winans
You ever wondered when Jesus is planning to come back?...
Have you ever looked around at everything happening in the world or maybe just everything happening in your life and said, “Boss Man, you can come now...”?
Some days, the weight just feels heavier.
You smile, you show up, you try... but inside you’re drained.
Not just physically tired, but soul tired.
And in those moments, it’s okay to admit it.
It’s okay to fall to your knees and say, “Jesus, I need You now.”
Maybe you've prayed it too:
“Come, Jesus, come.”
Not just as a song lyric.
But as a cry from somewhere deep inside you.
A longing for peace that doesn’t fade by Monday.
A craving for justice that doesn’t feel so far away.
A desire to be held, not just emotionally, but eternally.
The Bible says in Revelation 21:4, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain…”
One day, that will be reality. One day, we will stand face to face with the One who carried our pain long before we ever felt it.
But until then…
Even while we wait, He is already with us.
In the silence. In the struggle. In the slow mornings and the long nights.
He’s there when you cry in secret.
He’s there when you feel like no one understands.
He’s there when you whisper a prayer with barely enough strength to believe.
So if that’s you today, you’re not alone.
Let this be your prayer:
Come, Jesus, come. Come into my worry. Come into my weakness. Come into my waiting.
And as you wait, don’t just survive.
Keep blooming.
Right where you are.
Because even in the middle of the ache, God still brings beauty.
