When It Doesn’t Make Sense YET

Isaiah 60:22

“When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”

There’s a silence that stings a little deeper

when you’ve been waiting on something that doesn’t seem to move.

And not just anything...

but the thing you’ve prayed about. Cried about.

The thing that keeps you up at night

because your heart refuses to stop hoping for it.

And sometimes, that waiting feels like it’s doing more breaking

than building.

But Isaiah 60:22 says something simple—

something gentle enough to hold onto

when you don’t have the energy to figure it all out:

When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”

Not me forcing the door open.

Not others validating the vision.

Not life finally going my way.

God.

When the time is right, He will.

Because God isn’t just interested in my destination...

He’s invested in my development.

And while I wait,

He’s working on the version of me who will be able to

handle what I’m praying for.

So I’ve stopped asking, Why not now?

and started praying,

Make me ready when it comes.

I’m learning that delay doesn’t mean denial...

it just means God’s promise is still in progress.

And He’s not in a rush.

He’s in the business of right timing.

And what He does in the wait is often more important

than what we were waiting for.

So if you’re there—

in the in-between, in the ache, in the hush, in your doubt,

hold on.

You haven’t been forgotten.

You’re just being prepared

for something worth the wait.

And when the time is right

God will work it out! 🌸

Love this ❤️
Shifting your mindset like this really allows you to acknowledge God as omniscient and our way maker. It also brings peace as we give Him control :) thanks for the reminder ❤️. Sometimes we have to give Jesus the wheel instead of fighting to take control of what He as already mapped out perfectly.
