Open The Eyes of My Heart x Jordan G. Welch

Dear Heavenly Father,
This morning, I pause
Not to ask for more, but to thank You for what You’ve already given: Breath in my lungs. Peace in the stillness.
A chance to slow down and remember who You are.

Thank You so much for the Sabbath
A gift I don’t want to rush past.
Today, I choose to receive it,
Not just as a break from work,
But as an invitation to come closer to You.
To rest. To trust. To be still and know that You are God.

Silence the noise in my mind, Lord.
The thoughts that race, the burdens I carry.
Quiet the fear. Quiet the doubt.
And open the eyes of my heart.
Because more than anything,
I just want to see You.

Help me to be present today
With You, with myself, with others.
Remind me that I don’t have to prove anything.
You already call me Yours.
Even in stillness, I am loved.

And when I feel weak,
When I feel far from You, draw me close.
Let me hear You. Let me know You. Let me see You.

Thank You for grace that meets me here,
For love that never runs out,
And for the promise that even when I wander,
You’re always ready to welcome me home.

I want to see You, Lord.
High and lifted up.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

This wad for me. I needed this right now. Silence the voices Lord.
