Will you love me more...?

Dear Lord,

With all of these other voices in the world,
I'm just finding it difficult to hear Yours.
And it's no fault of Yours.
It's me. It's always been me.
Always been me, me, me.
That's all I seek to think about-
How I feel, what I can do, how I can self improve....
But never about the God who promises me more.

Lord, there is a battle within, I feel it.
Sometimes it's loud and overpowering- where I know that there is a direct hit on my spirit.
But other times it's that little voice that tells me that this is just a small thing....
"You can sin now and ask for pardon later."

And then later, I find myself in this deep, dark place, struggling to find myself back to You.

Oh, to love You as much as how you love me!
To treat You as best as how you treat me!
I pray for that love Lord.....
